Christmas in Bangkok

We were happy to be in Bangkok for Christmas because it actually feels like Christmas there. The malls were decorated with Christmas trees and they played Christmas music. Emma enjoyed all the colorful sights.

She even got to meet Santa Clause....although I don't think she liked him too much. :)
We got to open presents at the Guest House! What fun.

We spent the day in Songkhla with the mission team from Ferris, TX. We had so much fun at the beach.

Thai Father's Day

Today is Father's Day in Thailand. Emma got to give her dad a gift during the ceremony at church.

7 Months Old

Emma turned 7 months old today.

Swimming Day

Emma had the opportunity to swim for the very first time today. She LOVED it! We had so much fun playing with her in the pool. We can't wait to take her swimming again. Here are a few pictures from her swimming day.

Emma's First Team Retreat

Emma had a good time in Krabi with our teammates. This was her first retreat and first opportunity to stick her feet in the swimming pool.

First Time Eating Solids

Emma had the opportunity today to try solid food for the first time. She was so ready to try something new. She loved the rice cereal.

Emma's New Friend

Emma got to meet Rat's new baby today.

Look Convincing?

Emma has begun this huge fascination with the cups we drink out of. Anytime we put a Nalgene bottle or glass to our mouth she reaches for it. A lot of time she just wants to lick the side or put her mouth on the rim. Today, I gave her the straw to see what she would do with it. She put her mouth on it just like she knew what to do and then grabbed it just to chew on. The picture makes it look like she already knows how to drink out of a straw!
