Finally Home!

After an eventful few weeks and a very long drive we made it back home. Emma was the first to start catching up on some rest after the long journey.

Emma Meets Mimi

Adria (Mimi to Emma), Tricia's mom, arrived for a visit on Thursday. Here is a picture of Emma meeting her Mimi for the first time at the airport in Bangkok.

So far (with the exception of a few nights) :) she has been sleeping well. She looks so cute sleeping, its hard to resist taking a few pictures from time to time.

Ready to Travel

Emma's car seat arrived! We were so excited to receive this gift. It traveled long and far to make it to Thailand. A fellow missionary who was near to Eric's parents house said he would bring it over for us. This car seat started in Concord, NC and then went from North Carolina to Virginia to Chicago to South Korea to Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Thailand and then back to Bangkok again before we got it. Emma just had to try it out when it got here. :)

Her first outing in her new car seat was to celebrate Mother's Day at the Marriott lunch buffet.

Out on the Town

Because Emma arrived early, we were not quite prepared with everything we needed for her. On Saturday afternoon we took her shopping at a local department store to pick up some items she still needed. She did great on her first trip out (even though she did sleep for most of it)!
