The time finally arrived! We have been on our adoption journey for years now and here it is...the moment we all get to meet our new baby and little brother! This is the hotel in Louisiana where we met our social worker to pick Hudson up and sign all the adoption papers. Emma was so excited to meet Hudson for the first time. She picked out a special gift from her and Owen to give her new baby brother.
Owen loved meeting Hudson. He kept wanting to touch him and he even helped feed him his bottle.

Tricia's mom came over to meet Hudson and help for the week. This was our first outing as a new family.
Tricia's friend, Adele, stopped by to meet Hudson too! As always, she brings gifts for the new big sister and big brother.
While we waited for clearance to leave Louisiana, Emma had a great time playing with the kids in the neighborhood.
